ABOUT ME
I'm a video creative who cares about the story.
Video Production
Visual Storytelling
I create video that tells a story, communicates a clear message, and connects with the people watching. From concept and production to the final edit, I work to make every piece feel intentional, engaging, and true to the people and organizations behind it.
Cinematography
Capturing Moments
I focus on capturing moments in a way that feels natural, intentional, and true to the story. From interviews to b-roll, I use composition, movement, lighting, and camera work to create visuals that feel authentic
and keep people engaged.
Post-Production
Refining the Story
This is where the story really comes together. I take the footage and shape it into a clear, engaging story through editing, pacing, sound, color, and visual effects. The goal is a final piece that feels polished without losing what made the story worth telling in the first place.
Photography
High Quality Photos
I use photography to capture people, places, and moments in a way that feels natural and intentional. From events and portraits to brand and organizational photography, I focus on creating images that tell a story and give people something worth looking at.

Visual Storytelling Expert
I'm Chris Allred, a video producer, director, editor, and photographer based in Raleigh, North Carolina. For more than 15 years, I've been creating video content for organizations, businesses, schools, nonprofits, churches, and communities.
I've worked across the entire production process from developing an idea and planning a shoot to directing interviews, capturing footage, editing the story, and delivering the final piece.
But the part of the work I enjoy most is figuring out what people need to feel, understand, or remember and building the story around that.
My work has ranged from nonprofit storytelling to promotional videos, event coverage, social content, testimonials, documentaries, and creative campaigns.
I’m comfortable wearing a lot of hats. I can sit in a creative meeting developing the idea, build the production plan, show up with a camera, direct the interview, shoot the b-roll, and spend the next few days turning it all into a finished story.
That's also what I bring to a creative team: ownership.
I care about doing good work, but I also care about making the process better, solving problems, collaborating with people, and finding a way to get the project across the finish line.
I'm always interested in working with people who believe video can do more than check a box.
